My theory is that Spike can either breath normal fire, or enchanted fire.
 
It’s like a mental switch, or tap. It has either a hot setting or a cold setting and can equally be left on either one by accident.

which is why i say magic breath makes no sense he has burnt things both accidentally and with intent and the only thing he teleported in both cause were scrolls

this is why i dont like the magic fire breath headcanon, he can only send messages to celestia? having a scroll with a teleport spell attach makes wayy more sense and is wayy more useful
