yes. yes it does.
Seconded!
Man, I’d love to watch Deadpool taking on the Lametastic Four
Well, he can go eat a dyay.
This latest movie helped us remember that movies like the latest F4 shouldn’t exist
And apparently they’re getting cable for the sequel. I hope they’ll have HBO.
Yeah, I think it’s safe to say they’ve got a franchise on their hands when a movie is such a hit that a big-budget sequel is literally pitched and greenlit before its Opening Weekend is over.
Not to mention that even the serious and sad parts are still comical at times XD
The studio is projecting $135 million in ticket sales for Deadpool this weekend, for a film with a budget of $58 million.
Critical reviews are broadly positive, they’re already in talks for the sequel, and odds are it has singlehandedly resurrected Ryan Reynold’s career.
I saw it on Friday night, and enjoyed the hell out of it. It’s not Citizen Kane, but the jokes mostly hit, the action is entertaining, and the acting from Reynolds and Baccarin is surprisingly touching in spots.
Well I’m going to go see it then!
@Xari
lol
OK, I did some research, it made 5 times its budget in just one week…
I thought it was great. An odd effect here and there didn’t look too good, but on the whole it’s one of my favorite movies.
Eeyup, the credits part were really funny XD
If you see it in theaters, stay after the credits
Spoiler: There’s a Ferris Bueller reference
