“The first?” So this means Woona & ‘Tia never existed? (Or at least as alicorns) That’s kinda disapointing…  
I kinda preferred to think Celestia & Luna were born alicorns to at least set them apart from Twi’ & Cadance a bit, or make them more unique.
 
I also don’t get why so many fans were so surprised/shocked by Flurry being an alicorn. (Which I kinda predicted.) I would’ve been more surprised if she wasn’t one. (Her Mother is one, after all.)

  2. From a narrative context and not fan backlash context, let’s say there IS an in-universe anti-Flurry Heart cult. Tons of story potential for like the Elements of Harmony protecting her (that’s kind of dark for the show itself obvs. but it could make for a cool fanfic).
     
  3. More likely I’m thinking league of badguys realize that flurry heart is, or has the potential to be, super-powerful and try to kidnap her for their own purposes.
     
  4. Flurry Heart sounds like a villain’s name. Flurries are a kind of snow, so it brings to mind… well, frozen hearts/cold heartedness/etc.

like, in universe – she throws off /some/ kind of balance or is the result of a /loss of balance/ that’s already been happening
 
I like this headcanon best. But we need some cultists declaring Flurry Heart is an obscenity that shouldn’t exist.
