It’s true that most of the time mods are around. But we’re only humans too. And monitoring every single comment, upload, forum post, tag change, etc. is simply impossible.
 
But that’s why reports are a thing.

I enjoy the joke, but does anyone really do this? With how many mods there are I’m certain they have coverage over a 24 hour period, so you wouldn’t get off the hook with anything.
 
Though surprisingly, people do slip through the cracks occasionally.
