This is getting out of hand, we need the Equestrian Intelligence Agency to disrupt her reign over books and reading media. Maybe a suave Pegasus that uses a grappling hook and big nonsensical explosions.

So Twi wears 3 books on her head and Flash only wears 2? Now I imagine everypony wears books according to their rank.  
Like, the members of their High Council (or whoever comes next in the hierarchy) only get 1 book, the generals get a little booklet… The lowest ranks would get a bookmark or even just a little sticky note.
