the lose of a pet is quite similar to the feeling of losing a family member, because they are family! I think it will stay as a vague mention without explicitly mentioning death.

Look, I started playing Sonic games around 1999. I follow most of the Modern American/Japanese continuity of The Sonic Franchise. That’s why I call Dr. Robotnik, Dr. Eggman. I refer Sonic and his friends as “mobians” because I’m not 100% sure about this, but if I recall correctly, In the classic game manuals I swear I saw the name “Mobius” mentioned in one of them (possibly Sonic 1 or 2 or CD). Mobius is known to be Sonic’s home world in the Sonic Archie comics too, so there’s that. Not that anyone cares. =/
