“A mad scientist”? That actually makes alot of sense, when you compare it to how she talks.
Mascara is just an eccentric genius. Ditzy, bubbly unconventional and master of all kinds of potions. She talks weird because she has a habit of compressing words for efficiency. Unlike her Grandmom who is an academic, Mascara is more of a mad scientist.
