Emerald asks what that object is he is holding, but as he points the thing seems to morph it’s shape, suddenly losing the odd squares and gaining eyeballs, sprouting something akin to horns, and then seemingly catching fire and freezing at the same time.
 
“Chaos apple.” The Shopkeeper says gruffly.
 
Emerald asks what it’s for.
 
“It has a lot of uses. Mutations, teleportation, portals. Very dangerous to have around.”
 
Emerald asks if he should just take it, or if he has anything he can carry it in.
 
“I got an E-Canister here, and if it’s Joyride’s dime I’m sure she could afford it.”
 
The Shopkeeper takes the “apple” and places it in a nearby pill shaped canister sitting on a table. It seems to be made of some sort of silvery metal and has a screw top. He then goes back and grabs four more.
 
After that he wheels in a planter from the side of the room. It’s full of what looks like common grass, but with a pale blue tone. Emerald leans in close to look at it, but almost immediately wishes he hadn’t. The second the Shopkeeper trowels up some of it the plant life gives off an ear splitting howl. A second later it’s placed into a black box, that thankfully blots the noise out.
 
Emerald looks at the shopkeeper, and he responds with another grunt, “Screaming Grass.”
