No, I’ve watched the films a lot. I like them better than the show. And at the end of the movie, Adagio wears that same top with the triangle patter on it, the jacket thing with the giant shoulder pads, the belt, the split skirt over a different skirt. The only difference is the shape of the top of the boots.
I doubt he watched the films and is basing the concept of their toy appearences resembling their film appearences on what he read in the books, which contain mostly artwork associated with the toyline… Or Dyslexia. Actually, I’ve never looked up the symptoms of Dyslexia. Apologies. XD

Yeah? She looks just like the toy. Closer than most, since the Dazzling toys even have accurate clothes.
They really don’t, just take a look at Adagio Dazzle.
All the others do, why shouldn’t these two?
Hardly any of the characters look like their toys.
I’d very much prefer Zecora and Chrysalis be based on the existing designs if they ever show up in the movies.

They’d probably only change the outfit. I doubt Hasbro would let them deviate too far from the design of the doll, since the main goal is to, you know, sell toys.
That said, given the title of the next film, it WOULD be a good time to introduce her to the movies.

Well, I know Hasbro would do that because it’s trying to sell toys, but I doubt she’d look that way if she was in the EG series.
