Yet again, Have you tried it?
No, WASD is much better for first-person movement.
I meant thumbstick for foreward, back, and strafing. Not for looking
If I want more precise movement while playing a first-person shooter, even on a couch, I’ll use a mouse. With a keyboard.
More precise movement because of the thumbstick. That or for pc gaming on the couch
What’s the point of “mouse functionality” on the Steam controller if I can simply just use a mouse and keyboard by themselves?
even though it has mouse functionality and can be set up any way you want to?
No, I don’t want to use any controller for a first-person shooter, even the Steam Controller. I’d happily try it out on a platformer or racing game on PC, though.
Have you ever tried the steam controller? It works quite well
I would never want to play Team Fortress 2 or any first-person shooter with any controller, even the Steam controller. Mouse+WASD keyboard is the best way to play an FPS.
That’s why I use a steam controller.
Controllers are still better on PC for racing games and other non-shooter/aiming games.
I play PC games on my laptop on my bed all the time. I support my computer and elevate the exhaust fan with my feet or leg(s).
Yeah I have a stand for my laptop when it is on the bed.
Also I have a wireless adapter for my ps3 controller so I can chill while playing it.
Personally I prefer XBux controllers.
