I’m more concerned about full crystal Winona, but knowing Hasbro it might have nothing to do with the story in the cartoon. They just love transparent plastic for some reason.

^ That would be neat but as far as the animated series goes it would be merely an excuse to bring back the body art patterns on the toys that were so common in G3.

Shine Bright series also had pony toys with this kind of articulation.  
It looks meh, the poseable joints ruin the overall sleek and nice looking sculpt and without the knees or other mid leg joints they’re useless.
