It’s more that you can mount them on MOLLE gear either way, as you prefer. What keeps the mags from dropping out? Well, assuming that they are what I think they look like–molded synthetic carriers, made clamshell fashion from Kydex or a similar polymer–what holds in the mag is tension and friction, which are going to be adjustable on your better grade of mag carrier by means of Chicago screws which apply clamping pressure around the edges.

As a veteran, I say kudos on making a proper “taped together magzine” design. Not very often you see this. Shame about the human sized trigger guard.

Hopefully, if the ponies ever invented firearms, some pony would be wise enough to add a hoofsiced trigger guard/trigger. Or maybe Equestria outsourced all their arms manufacturing to the Dragon Empire.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Think pointy hooves, they could acess the trigger that way. Also, there are many firearms with elongated trigger guards like a FAMAS or a Steyr Aug that could fit a pony’s hoove.
