As a cat owner, this is something I have to put up with on a regular basis.
They love trying to either climb the tree, or (more commonly) nick the decorations to play with.
This was going to be something else that I had an idea for, but it didn’t come out cute enough. So whilst I was colouring it in, the idea for putting it in this context occurred to me, and seemed too fitting.

Yeah, I don’t often comment like that because it does rub people up the wrong way.
Keep in mind that tends to irritate people; you can ‘win the battle but lose the war’ very quickly that way.
