I honestly feel like Trixie’s would rather be more in the shadows than a direct one. That could be a really good one since Trixie can have an anti-hero kind of role.

That would be a very interesting episode.

I’d like if they revisit Trixie the Mane Six learns that she is actively doing her best to help others, being humble and kind, and performing the greatest shows ever seen. However whenever they try to approach her she instantly clears out and is quickly impossible to find.
 
The dark twist…despite being forgiven, Trixie has come to genuinely believe that she doesn’t deserve forgiveness and all of her good deeds are like a manic need to pay off debts that don’t exist.
 
Trixie has heard too much of Twilight’s exploits and now feels like her selfishness could have destroyed Equestria had she succeeded in keeping the Mane Six apart. Therefore she feels unworthy to stand in their presence and will always make herself scarce before Twilight even realizes her former rival is nearby .

I hope this happens next season.

Moral of the story: You can be a horrible person, who enslaves a town, brainwashes teens or outright destroys the world as we know it. But if you are a pony unicorn and female and apologize for your evil deeds, then you’ll be friends with your victims.  
I like it, real as life itself :)
