Although this lesson should be taught in high school, this teaching is a highly questionable idea for young filly.

I’ve long wondered if the other one was meant to be Luna, but long ago got replaced by an abstract figure and now almost nopony remembers it should change back.

I never noticed they have some kind of religious icon of Celestia on the wall.

Same with her (rather snotty) Mother, though she seems more scared of her in contrast to her father whom she seems to get alone better.
 
Some fans speculate her parents might be divorced, which could also be part of why she has anger/mean issues.

Well, from what we found out about Diamond Tiara’s home life in “Crusaders of the Lost Mark”, it’s understandable. She dotes on her father and is almost desperate for his approval.

In fact, one thing I should add, maybe Bloom & everyone not giving a flip about her Dad, here might’ve contributed to Tiara trying to make Bloom feel bad about her Granny. She might’ve even been a bit jealous they all enjoyed her story more, and such at the end, as well.
 
Not justifying her bad behavior, but it does make me feel a bit bad for her, and also kinda shows another reason for her being a li’l biotch sometimes.

Even if she is a brat, it’s kinda adorable how she genuinely seems to adore her old man.
 
Considering how all the others were bored/falling asleep (even the CMC) they were all being rather rude in comparison, (my teacher would’ve had a fit if we did that) even if it was just a cartoony gag.  
Almost can’t blame Tiara for being a biotch in a way for that, if most ponies see her Daddy as such a “bore/typical rich stallion” when she loves him so much, and knows him better then they do.  
(Also, in regards to “Lost Cutie-Mark,” Tiara’s fear of her Mother also contrasts interestingly with how she adores her Dad. I kinda like the idea of her having “one nice parent,” and one “bad parent.”)

Well, he’s probably reasonably handsome as adult male ponies go.
 
Personally, I always liked how Diamond Tiara is paying rapt attention here, and it’s apparently not just fake. She honestly seems interested in his business, so hopefully she’ll have real skill at it as an adult.
