What a shocker! You mean a Pony that lives in Equestria should be closer (by degrees), closer then some Ape, who lives in a Parallel Dimension?

I’d love Sunset Shimmer to return to Equestria and befriend the mane six, but not until the Equestria Girls sub-series is ready to end for good. She may be tied there by her friends now (which is more than she has for Equestria), but what happens after high school, if those friends decide to go their separate ways in pursuit of their passions?

I hate to throw salt on this but a better title than “starlight reformation drama” would be “Glimmergate.”

Sunset is the key character in the Equestria Girl world. There is no Sunset in Equestria, so it would be a rather stupid decision to push her in the background. For the past two movies, she’s had a central part to play and given her popularity, it’s easy to see her continuing this.

Why would she be any less of the star for that reason? The Twilight Sparkle in that universe is more like a lost puppy, compared to the one in Equestria. And, I don’t necessarily mean that in a derogatory way. She just seems like she will have the role as the girl who will learn things from the others. She will probably not have as big of a role as Sunset. And, Sunset really has become the one that they will more likely rely on, at this point.

I don’t get it. I thought people were pleased with how Sunset Shimmer basically became the leader of the Mane 6 in the other world. She is a character who accomplished so much in so little time, and has pretty much become the star of the Equestria Girls movies. She seems to be quite happy with herself, at this point. I mean, sure, it would be nice if she revisited Equestria one day. But, only to visit and tie loose ends. I can imagine it would be better for her to continue on the path she has gone on now. She has become a hero and great friend to the humans.

Sunset is the star of the Equestria Girls series and it’s central and leading role. She’s that show’s Twilight.

Oh shimmerfans, calm down already…
