Though STALKER did allow you to allay your fears with a trusty shotgun in your hands, or, in one instance for me, a wall. Surely the most wretched sookha that guy was; a poor army grunt, mutated into a horrible monster, forced to dwell in a hellish underground laboratory and the first chance he gets to make good on his clever ambush position in a side room, he leaps up and head-butts the door frame. Then I shoot him before he can recover and I laugh at his corpse. Poor guy…
