It’s a bit of a stretch to say that, maybe you caught him on an off day. I get this sort of thing from my Dad sometimes if he gets overwhelmed, particularly when it comes to car repair. He’s gotten so mad he’d say he would send the car (regardless of what it was, even with one in great condition I bought the previous month) to the junkyard the next day; then I ended up fixing it in each case.

EDF is a Japanese 3d person shooter were your defend earth from giant ants and alien robots (the bugs are aliens too) and there are bosses and you can destroy most of the map your in like 2 shot from a rocket launcher or a full assault rifle clip will bring a sky scraper down and there’s also bosses

I live near a Disney park, and I’ve got a friend that works there. He gets free tickets all the time, so I go there often. I swear anytime a goddamn Pluto or Goofy comes near I get the urge to either run away or jump into the river in the pirate cove.  
And no, my avatar is a baneling from Starcraft. No idea what earth defense force is.

What is there to be proud about? “I like this show” is not an accomplishment.
It is about being progressive and accepting. We have a lot of bigotry in our society, labeling people with any label possible so you can look down on them. It’s so ingrained in our culture that it features in our laws, in our media (like the OPs picture from the daily star).
You’re trans? obviously you are mentally sick.
You’re black? Obviously you’re a lesser race, only suitable for crime.
You’re Muslim? Clearly you are a violent extremist.
You’re christian? Get off the soapbox you hypocrite.
You got raped? Well its your own fault for wearing provocative clothing.
You ride a motorbike? So do you ride at 150mph all the time or are you a drug running hells angel gangster?
You like MLP? You must be a social retard child rapist who is gay and lives in your parents basement.
Well, that’s the world we live in. If you’re not ‘normal’, you’re WRONG. There was a big movement in the brony community to work against the institutionalized bigotry that we live in. I can’t say if it has had any impact. Did bronies have a hand in legalizing gay marriage? Possibly, a small influence.
We have, as humans, a duty to stand against this part of our society, it’s far bigger than watching a kids cartoon, but if that’s the first step? go for it.
Of corse that whole spiel is quite fanciful and I’m not expecting you to suddenly be fighting for progressive society, but if you can at least see the point, then you can understand why some bronies are ‘proud’ to be bronies.

Im sure it is using words like OBSESSED and getting details that should be almost secret the fursuit is a detail that would make most people look bad
