I think the most that’s been related to drugs among Marsminer’s works is… Mars ingesting caffeine. IF you want to call that “drugs” and not just “coffee”.

Well, I suppose she WAS already ruined sexually, so there’s that. Now I just feel like I want her to suffer, and that makes me sick because I also feel like she doesn’t deserve it. Also, I thought you mentioned drugs, and those are something that can make me stop liking an OC just because it’s involved, and I will have no part of that.

(I have ADD, similar without hyperactivity. So I get that too. Movement draws attention. )

You know, it’s funny… Venus here gets put through some pretty horrible, degrading things in the course of her life, and yet of all things the thought that she can only afford an old 56k modem makes me feel horribly sad for her. And the more I reflect on it, the more I think it’s because whatever stupid things we may have done with the internet in our time, one thing that can never be taken away is the fact that it has connected us to each other. No matter how shut away we may be, or how strange our tastes may run, odds are there is a kindred spirit or group of them out there waiting to welcome us in. And yes, there are negative aspects of everything I’ve said as well, but every so often, even if just for a moment, it is worth remembering how amazing it is that we can share our thoughts together like this. And that’s why this gets me. To be cut off from something like that… limited like that… saddens me in a way I can’t explain.
