Yeah, but there’s a recent scandal revolving around someone taking artists renditions of Alicorn Twilight and shopping the wings off.

The “big deal”, from what I understand, is that making characters “thin” is altering them to conform to a generic fixed ideal standard of beauty/sexiness that is ubiquitous in some parts of the media, while the characters are already portrayed as beautiful in nonstandard ways.
 
The real “big deal”, to some people, is that the mere fact that I’m saying this is practically an act of murder because someone was mean about it once. That’s why you hear so many people gloating about it in certain circles.

it’s a good show but it takes a while before it gets really good(depending on the viewer, it’s as early as the 16th episode or the 25th). but because of the short episode format (each episode is less than 12 minutes each), backtracking to see stuff that didn’t make sense/seemed unimportant is much more easier to do than other shows.

Long story short, artist portrayed Rose as thin, SU fans got pissed and attacked artist.

As a Sonic fan, I will say the “blue arms” drama isn’t nearly as bad as the “Green eyes in Sonic 4” drama that Nicochi & Richard Kuta started years back…
