You might also be interested in going to your links tab and getting your artist tag linked up to your account name and other places of upload. You get a neat badge out of it, to boot.

Not really. I mean it’s appreciated. People that like your art here can then like/fave it on tumblr too. That’s the idea behind it.
 
You can just post them from your pc if you want, no problem, but if you have a source it might be faster and easier to do it like that. Say for example this one.  

 
You could just download it to your pc and upload it from there, no problem. But it might be easier and faster for you, especially if you plan to upload lots of things, to use the fetch url option.
 
See, if you go to the upload page you’ll see this field that says “Fetch URL”. If you put the source there, which in this case would be __http://cloud-up.tumblr.com/post/129734424402__, then add any needed tags and click “Create image” Derpibooru will automatically upload the image at the source at highest res and then add the source at the same time.
 
It’s simply a faster and easier method of uploading.
 
And please tell me you’re going to upload that AJ because I want to fave the f[yay] out of it. So pretty.
