yes what i meant is even though there are some hints, they’re still not a pair. It’s confirmed that big mac and cherilee are friends but not couple that’s why i said that only married couples are canon.
While the ship isn’t technically official, it’s pretty obvious where they’re going with this.
Also, in all honesty, I was more of a Fluttermac guy myself, but I’m also not one to freak out when a ship I follow is sunk.

Hey, I can tolerate MLP pairings……. if it’s canon or has a explainable and logical backstory…
It tends to be that most people don’t bother to keep track of ships they don’t personally ship, and make their own ships based of what they themselves like, so in their head, they’re really only focusing on, at max like 5 or 6 ships.
people in this fandom ships everything that interacted with each other or has similarities. There are many stupid and crack ships like PinkieRover or BoulderTom just because of one scene or one similarity so
