Thanks but I fixed the problem myself by making all the images png before they are animated. Any other comics with gifs I should be able to handle.
Oh, I uploaded a combined version to Deviantart that shouldn’t have this problem.
As far as I know, the only thing Derpibooru alters about uploaded images is wiping exif data for privacy reasons. There should be no compression.
It’s almost certainly due to my inexperience with Photoshop but all I did was split the gif into its two frames, assemble two comics, one with each frame, and set them together to animate. Both frames were identical except for the bottom panel. Maybe it’s because I had to save the unanimated parts as gifs to join them all together? I’ll experiment and reupload if it goes well.
That’s weird, it’s not present in the source gif I uploaded. Does Derpibooru do some sort of compression to uploads or something?
It actually kinda works. I thought it was intentional at first. Gives the black smokey stuff a more unreal feel to it~
