At this point in Scoots life, she has grown up to stand on her own hooves and makes a name for herself as a solo-act crime fighter in Manehatten. She and Dash have a falling out shortly prior leading the two to not talk too often, but she does visit Apple Bloom and help her former mentor out of a crisis from time to time. Always out to prove herself and outdo anyones expectations of her, Nightwingloo is no longer the butt of jokes to be teased by the likes of Pinkie Quinn, Capitalist Piglette and the like.
 
I subscribe to Lauren Fausts original intent for Scoots lack of flight to stem from being disabled, but utilize the gliders in Nightwings costume as a means of overcoming such a handicap.
