GG and CG are pretty intertwined with how the elites have treated people by throwing labels and slandering anyone that talks against them as a bigot and even attack smaller companies that don’t tow their line.
 
Something a lot of wish would happen more. These people take pride in defaming people and now, Waid’s big mouth finally got him and probably Marvel comic in trouble.

Controversial things usually face larger scale negative attention than those who don’t. It has little to do with gamergate any much so that they propagate the controversy by giving it focus that some harassers take note of.
 
Not once has targeted harrasment been approved as a tactic, but you can’t really prevent it entirely with the way information spreads. “Pioneered”… please, to think targeted harassment only happened after 2013 is to seriously distort history to fit a specific narrative. You know what, bring out the evidence if you really want to make your case; “google it”, “educate yourself” or any variant of such will not be entertained. While you’re at it, drop the instigative attitude.

Look, if you want to wear the label “historically accurate”, then you better bring your A-game with it. It better be historically accurate, or else.
 
I myself don’t play the Total War games but I know what it’s like. I mean, this is the same reason Battlefield 5 got all the controversy. They should’ve called it under a different title. I mean, they made Black Ops with its stupid gadgets but they don’t go around with “historically accurate” in their name.

Thing Total War wouldn’t be much big of issue if not for tone deaf response comunity manager.  
Why its always community managers causing or are involved drama and PR disaster while their job should be about preventing that?

Battlefield 5 has the “i couldnt just go tell my daughter brittish soldiers werent female in ww2” problem. (why they didnt just make a whole chapter about the russian front and heavily feature the women that fought there is another question).
 
Rome 2 took a thing that is rare when we talk about history as a whole and made it common. 50% chance for some factions while for rome its some 20% apparently.
 
Their answer is the same that you can use for arguing that you should have early firearms units featured in every faction. They might have exised somewhere sometime.
 
There might be some people complaining about obscure details but that wont be any huge backlash.

Or in BF1 they could have done the “German East Africa” (even after German East Africa fell to the Entante xD) Campaign (would have been cool to see it from the german perspective). It would have everything pretty much. Regular fighting and guerilla warfare and might make people actually learn something about history.

He threw out all their evidence because it was damaging to them, and on the day of sentencing they weren’t even there. Any normal judge would have found them in guilty, but not a Canadian SocJudge.
 
And besides that; Zack is going for one with a Jury, so the they will be a huge difference, especially with Waid’s prior action and the scummy Lawyer he hired doesn’t help.

Before you judge, read the whole thing. The title is misleading, as the article is actually about debunking Anita Sarkeesian’s arguments regarding GG.

Sure #Notall games have misogynistic elements which reneforce patriarchal world-views*, but many popular mainstream games do, similar to movies. Sure a lot of Anita’s critique aren’t really that good, but this is a ducking terrible argument to make
