I’ll start with facts about Starless.
I’ll start with facts about Starless.
- Starless and Coloratura knew each other since they were foals. They didn’t get along most of the time but Starless genuinely liked her and saw her as his only true friend.
- Starless suffers from multiple mental illnesses which explain why he’s extremely self-defeating and depressed.
- Starless doesn’t care about his own cutie mark. He wonders how he even got a cutie mark at all.
- Starless loves eating.
- Starless can play multiple instruments but hasn’t mastered any of them. His favorite instrument is the guitar.
- Starless was once part of a gang of earth ponies who all practiced forbidden magic. Despite not having a horn, he has access to magic more powerful than most unicorns but weaker than Starlight or any of the alicorns.
- Starless gave up on friendship but at the same time is jealous of ponies like Twilight and Starlight for the lasting friendships they have and the fact Starlight even has any despite everything she did.
- Starless is straight.
As for Starlight Pianissimo. I’ll start with that a lot of Starless’s negative traits still apply to her but are toned down some (she’s nicer than Starless and never practiced forbidden magic). The way I see her, she’s more of a separate personality of Starless, almost like a less bad version of him (don’t mean to be sexist or anything).
- Starlight’s friends used to call her “pee pee” (because the word “Pianissimo”, which means “very quiet”, is written as “pp” in music) which she hated for obvious reasons.
- Starlight is very shy, moreso than Starless.
- Starlight doesn’t sing but wishes she could. She envies Coloratura’s immense talent and amazing voice. She is a better pianist than her though (slightly better but still). She loves to fantasize about being a singer as shown in >>3478023, but she doesn’t have the voice for it and she hates her own voice.
- Starlight is straight but bi-curious.
