Borderlands is the game series that embraces Bulletsponge Enemies yet does it with enough class to get a pass.

I hate that the best way of getting studs in LEGO Star Wars -The Complete Saga is a boring on-rail shooter.

Yes, weapon level matters. But so do other factors like raw damage, accuracy, chance to proc special effects, and sights. If any gun besides a shotgun doesn’t have good iron sights or a scope I don’t want it.

Not to mention in 3 and Wonderlands the manufacturer gimmicks became worth considering like yeah Jacobs/blackpowder still usually hit the hardest and their richochet on cries is nice but Hyperion/hyperius shields can be pretty damn handy and Tourge sticky mode can do some amazing work on bosses,
