Are you sure it’s not dramatic irony and not a twist, like a disaster documentary? For those who don’t know, in this case, it means a disaster the audience knows but not the characters, a reminder that our lives could end at any moment with little to no warning.

IIRC the “good” ending of Snoot Game involves making fun of nonbinary people (since Fang in GBVH is NB) and she’s “cured” by realising that she’s a woman, and one of the bad endings involves Fang going on a school shooting because of people not accepting her as NB

Yeah GBVH doesn’t look great but a 4chan parody that’s just “Non straight/CIS people are gross” is outright shitty

Bingo. And let’s not forget the “normal” ending where a still non-binary Fang is now a homeless drug addict. Because I guess the dev really hates people who don’t adhere to the gender binary.

The game’s pretty disgusting about that shit overall, but it goes about it in a manner similar to a lot of online grifters (i.e. Grummz) and does it in a way that doesn’t seem very questionable to folks who are just casually engaging with the story. While I’m sure a lot of people out there see through the bullshit, there’s an equal amount of people who didn’t, and that’s the really haunting part about it.

Article says that although SEGA owns the rights to the lyrics, Crush 40 owns the rights and master recordings of the actual compensation, and were under the belief that the song would just be used for Sonic Adventure 2. Since SEGA has reused and remixed the song in multiple other games, Crush 40 was not paid any royalties for the usage, and are now demanding for SEGA to pay them back around $500,000 as compensation for unpaid royalties.

I actually play balatro and the accusation is pure madness. I consider loot boxes to be a rip off and if balatro had them I wouldn’t have even bought it in the first place. ten bucks says the muh gambling aesthetic bad crowd are picking up on the game’s video poker aesthetic to make stupid claims.

now if you want to make a real claim against balatro you could point out the strange incestuous relationship it’s dev seems to have with half the AAA and indie industry insiders.

I restarted Witcher 3 in preparation for Witcher 4 since I never finished it.

I finally beat a Final Fantasy game this year, FFIV and FFVI.

FFVI might be a top 10 game of all time.
