Growing up I thought “Being rich” meant I could like, buy a bunch of expensive stuff. As an adult I vaguely worried about people being rich enough to buy elections.
At no point did I ever imagine a level of wealth where you can just walk into random government facilities without clearance and declare “This is mine now”, and anyone who disagreed gets fired on the spot.
Jesus Christ. I always thought Lex Luthor’s famous line “Do you know how much power I’d have to give up to be President?” was just an empty flex. No, it was him pointing out a God’s honest truth.

In the latest “Well there it is” news, well there it is. A bill to dismantle the Department of Education has been introduced.
It’s extremely bare bones but yep. It’s an open secret that the more educated you are the more likely you are to vote Democrat (read: only dumb people vote Republican) and Trump himself admitted that he “loves the poorly educated” (because only they will vote for him).
Also this will hurt low-income families that rely on school lunches to feed their kids. So you know, another bonus for the Bible thumpers.

This ain’t Twitter kid, your smears won’t work here. I still stand by what I say, historically speaking fascists have consisted of people who believed themselves to be oppressed or wronged having a desire to be the ones who are doing the oppression.
I don’t know if you know this or not, but the civil rights movement wasn’t about oppression but equal rights. You know what equal is right? You need me to give you the dictionary’s definition of equality and oppression? Do you even know what a dictionary is?

I’m not knocking Lex, if he existed in the real world he’d be preferable to Trump and Musk 100%. At best though he’d be seen with mixed opinions, some saying he’s a hero and others pointing out his greed and lust for power.
