Can they still consider the USA an ally or friend though? The USA has acted like a bully and domestic abuser towards them for many years, even before Trump entered the scene, though the past 8 years have truly been an all-time low. At some point they have to draw a line; it’s not worth the effort helping someone if he or she is ungrateful.

And their app actually screwed him once because he delivered the food to the address give, but it was the wrong address, and of he got dinged for it even though it was their fault.

Yeah that’s incredibly silly and why I don’t miss Twitter. Like, DoorDash and other apps like it are extremely exploitative of their employees (stemming from being allowed to misclassify them as independent contractors), but I also recognize the convenience and utility that they offer in the current consumer landscape, especially for handicapped people who have trouble leaving their homes.
That’s why I focus my activism on helping drivers unionize and getting local and state labor laws passed in their favor (federal labor regulations are gonna be screwed for the next few years at least).

You know, that one thing that galvzanized the whole nation and honest to God changed history, setting the pace of this century? We were having one of them body count-wise a day.
They didn’t blame their pagan god one iota. They blamed him so little that being anti-mask (specifically, and all other anti-Covid measures in general) became a core tenet of their religion.
So no, I really don’t think that if Trump crashes the economy or institutes honest to Yahweh textbook authoritarian crackdowns on themselves, it still won’t be enough to shake their faith in Trump working in “mysterious ways”.
