It’s important to remember that staunch Zionism isn’t necessarily practiced out of a love for Jews. Some fascists even supported Israel as a containment area to keep Jews away from other nations. Many today are Evangelical Christians who believe that a physical Israel needs to exist in order for Jesus to come back, and their interpretation of Revelation is that Jews living in Israel after the Second Coming will either convert to Christianity or be cast into Hell.

All of them, of course, have a bloodthirsty hatred toward the Arab population that was living there beforehand.
