Someone on Bluesky has hypothesized the Trump’s handlers are running the 2016 late game: Keep Trump laying low interview-wise, only play to friendly crowds, and let hostile media coverage of his opponent get him across the finish line.
Whether this will work as well against Harris as it did against Clinton remains to be seen.

OK Trump 2 will be incredibly funny. He’s already at the Subway Surfers Stimming Phase of meltdown

it feels like switch in trump’s brain was just flipped a month ago. his always been crazy but he’s like…just gone now.
BlitztheDragon
Here’s hoping it gets Harris across the finish line with how hard legacy media has been propping Trump up.

I have a feeling that Trump’s old age and the multiple assassination attempts on him have had a bigger impact on his mental state then he’d like to admit

Unlikely, since he’s a known quantity now with a record.
It worked back then because he was a politically unknown wildcard and Clinton was a well known, deeply unpopular career politician with an established record.
Trump should be hitting the interview circuit hard to try and soften is general perception, not bury his head in the sand and hope for another 2016.

I think him and his team are banking on election fraud at this point.

They thankfully don’t have enough people in key areas to really pull that off either.
My previous prediction stands the same as it did at the start of October. Harris is the favorite, and dems are favored to retake the House.
The senate in a true tossup, with Montana and Texas being the ones to watch, and Nebraska being the wildcard.

Someone posted on r/QAnonCasualties about what happened at Coachella over the weekend. His father is a 70-year-old bus driver that is working for a company that transported the rally goers in Coachella. The person who created the rally didn’t expect 15,000 people to show up and didn’t pay for enough of the buses to transport all of the people to their destination. Because of this, the people got angry and began to riot.
They stood in front of the buses, banged on the doors and windows, and attacked two of the drivers. One of them was a female who was spit at by an elderly woman and had her hair grabbed before the attacker was restrained. The other person who was attacked was OP’s father who was sucker punched from behind his head. Originally, the drivers were supposed to pick up the rally goers after Trump’s rally was over. However, the bus company owner pulled the buses after hearing that a couple of the drivers were attacked.
TL;DR: Rally was poorly planned due to lack of buses. Buses were pulled after they reached their destination because the drivers were attacked.

At this point, anyone still voting for Trump is either a crazy MAGA fuck, or they’re blind. I’m pretty sure most of the sane Republicans are reluctantly voting for someone else, whether they be a Democrat or third party.

Georgia has blown past their previous first day in person voting record. They’re expecting over 200k votes by days end.

Hopefully all this pandering to Repubs that has been driving all the leftist doomposting in my feed pays off for Harris and she’s given Haley Republicans the permission structure they need to Dump the Trump.
I do genuinely think that for every leftist boycotting the Democrats, she is at least replacing their vote with a moderates. It’s also wild that the average not-online American voter still thinks they want “bipartisanship.”

Some interviews done by a local news station seem promising. Of the 9 people i read small snippets from, only two seemed conservative. Women’s rights, abortion, and racial equality seemed to be the most common factors.
Very limited anecdotal evidence, but nevertheless a good sign.
BlitztheDragon
People are posting a lot of anecdotal evidence about Harris signs overtaking Trump signs all over the country, even in rural areas. Not a good gauge of things in isolation, but it starts to add up.

I have my doubts on those. I think it’s just someone’s limited anecdotes to confirm one’s biases. It’s one thing to have a few signs scattered about, it’s another if nothing comes of it.

One or two micro trends can’t really be used for any predictive value on their own.
But, when you start to see a lot of them all turn the same way, you can start to draw some preliminary conclusions.

I wonder how many more times will Trump abandon his supporters in rallies this year? He did it at least three times last year.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter, because he knows they won’t ever blame him for getting screwed. Right now they’re all blaming the bus companies for cutting service.
