My dude, Twitter was always shit. The fact that this other site is advertised as “Twitter before you know who!” isn’t a good selling point. As Twitter was shit even then.

It’s really debatable how different Twitter truly is. In my case, it hasn’t really changed, I still see the same shit now I saw years ago. The crucial thing to me is that Bluesky disallows more content in art, which to me is just a nail in an opened coffin.

Say what you want about Twitter, I have very little nice to say about it, I can at least say that it allows as much content in art as it did before you know who. Bluesky rules didn’t appear to from my reading over them.

But regardless of how good or bad either site is, it’s about about the users there for the person joining. Bluesky has nothing for me right now, and for all I know that may never change. I don’t like Twitter, but it has people there I like or care about. I do not care what someone’s opinion of the site is or if they claim another site is ‘better’. The other site doesn’t have what I’m on Twitter still for.

I am never gonna call it X either.

Most major internet sites like X and Facebook make us interact in funny ways.

It’s a marketing robot that breeds schizophrenia and self isolation.

That’s why it’s named X. Like X-mas, it has no identity of its own, it’s a sales holiday, but this time you’re the product.

I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t go on X or Facebook, and I don’t swim 30 minutes after eating.

On social media nobody talks to you because the robot thinks you’re not marketable. On a forum nobody talks to you if you’re an asshole, the way God intended.

Especially for anime art. Bluesky has this tendency to nuke posts for “CP”, even if it’s not NSFW nor do they depict any children at all.

From how I see it at the current. BSKY is basically 2014 Tumblr, but with Twitter like functions.

Now if only Elon could just stop implementing STUPID kneejerk changes for at least a year or so. But that might be too much to ask for.

Most Vtubers are still on X(Twitter) for a good reason.

I do follow a few artists who post on both platforms. But I don’t interact with anyone for that very reason.

Tbf, art posts do get knocked off Twitter frequently as well. Neither platform is a good repository for art, nor should it be considered as one if anyone expects to come back to any sort of piece made by creators.
Which is why I’d stress that people should re-upload whatever art they find there to Boorus like this one.

And as expected.
Large number of the artists that migrated to BSKY are Furry artists with that particular type of leaning…

What does being furry have to do with any of it?

I can’t call this a flu I’m feeling either but it still has similar symptoms with flu. My brother whom I interact every single day hadn’t fell ill since I got it on Monday.

I say this is chronic stress because of being saddened by the announcement of Ceres Fauna graduating from Hololive.

Three days…I shouldn’t be this neutral.
