I always thought he simply had a backup plan to get out of that situation safely. If this is the case, I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes back again in Sonic 4.

I think it was cut, to make how Robotnik survived more mysterious like how the games never explained how he survived the endings of previous games. (And remember, he’s come back from worse fates than the movies.)

I liked to think he faked his death, seeing how calm he acted while falling off the Death Egg Robot. (“Later, hater.”) Which Robotnik has done before.

Even the old SatA.M. show, and comics has moments where Robotnik would seemingly “die,” only to be revealed to be ok.

He is alot like Joker, you could try to feed him to sharks, ^{(“Laughing Fish” reference)} and he would still come back somehow.

Actully I’m pretty sure they cut it cuz it was part of the axed streamer eggman running gag that coincidently had alot of stone simping. It was why eggman memchened his last live stream being dedicated to stone.

Box office report this week:

-“Dog Man” is the first breakout movie of the year by grossing $36 million domestic on its opening weekend. This was a perfect film for kids and families who were starving for a new family film, and Dreamworks fulfilled that promise. It did poorly in the overseas market, however, since the “Dog Man” books aren’t popular over there. Still, I expect the $40 million film to do very well this month since there won’t be a lot of competition for family films for the rest of the month. “Paddington in Peru” is more popular overseas than in the domestic market, and I don’t expect the Looney Tunes film coming out at the end of February to make much noise since it is being distributed by a small company.
-“Companion” made $9.3 million domestic this weekend. Considering the fact that its budget is around $10 million, it’s a solid debut overall. WB didn’t spend a lot of money marketing this film, so it’ll have to rely on word of mouth to do well. The film will compete with other horror films like “Heart Eyes” this Friday and “The Monkey” later this month.
-“Mufasa” had another great performance by dropping less than 30% from the previous weekend. Its domestic total is less than $900k from passing “Sonic 3”‘s domestic total. I expect that to happen on Wednesday or on Thursday at the latest.
-“One of Them Days” had another impressive performance thanks to its strong word of mouth.
-The 53% drop for “Flight Risk” is surprisingly good for a film that got a bad reception. I wonder how long it’ll last?
-“Sonic 3” has passed “Gladiator II”‘s worldwide gross ($461.3 million) to become Paramount’s highest grossing movie of the year 2024.
-“Moana 2” is still doing very well. I think it’ll finish around $1.05-$1.06 billion worldwide at the end of its box office run.
-“A Complete Unknown” is picking up pace in the overseas market as it is slowly being released in other countries.

Additional note: “Moana 2” was available on digital platforms on Jan. 28th and will be on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 18th. “Mufasa” will be available on digital platforms on Feb. 18th and will be on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 1st.

People nowadays are claiming everything to be AI. Their own fucking toilets are AI now.

None of the films grossed at least $1 million domestic today. Not even “Dog Man” reached that mark. Movies for kids usually drop around 75-85% from Sunday to Monday, but “Dog Man” dropped a whopping 91%! It surprised me at first, but when I thought about it briefly, “Dog Man” hates Mondays like Garfield is mainly for kids and not for adults. And since kids don’t have time to watch movies during weekdays, the movie is going to make much less money during weekdays than on weekends.

I just saw the trailer, while I have given up on the MCU because of it’s recent releases turning out mediocre, I will say this one does actually have me intrigued a bit. Personally I liked the 2005 movie even though a lot of people don’t, Silver Surfer I thought was just okay, and Fant4stic was just boring and dumb, so I’m curious how this one will turn out.

Fant4stic was doomed from the start.
It was a Rushed production because the movie rights would go back to Marvel if fox didn’t release a new movie in time, with Roughly a year left

The trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth just dropped, and looks exciting. Kinda like Tomb Raider, group of characters go to an island to collect dino DNA, come across a bunch of dinos we haven’t seen before in the movies, it’s disconnected from the previous movies which means no Owen Grady or Claire Dearling, which perplexes me because I thought the next movie was gonna be called Jurassic Era and then become it’s own trilogy of movies.
Either way, as a fan of the franchise I’m looking forward to more dinosaurs on the big screen!
