Discord is trying to sneak in some unannounced privacy changes again.
A new set of beta features called “Equestrian Utilities” allows MLP Equestria to, among other things, physically turn you into a pony, along with any user on your friends list. You have to dig up the new settings and manually opt-out of them.
Go into your User Settings, and uncheck all options under Equestrian Utilities to opt out. No one was sent a message stating this was happening.
Some of the new settings:
- Allow me to be turned into a pony
- Allow Equestrian reformation officials to forcibly reform me
- Allow Celestia to turn me into an Alicorn worshipper
- Allow Luna to enter my dreams and change them
- Allow my mind to be probed by Equestrian ponies
- Allow me to be turned into a species from the Equestrian Earth
- Allow me to be remotely brainwashed by ponies
- Allow me to be teleported to Equestria
- Allow my body to be mutated and altered by ponies
- Allow my memories and personality to be altered by ponies
- Warn me in advance (Off by default)
Anyone who is in your friends list can be affected by these new settings, so long as you or them have them turned on. Tell your friends to turn off these settings NOW, before Celestia and Luna become your godesses or smth.
