I finally got to watch the episode, no thanks to the shitty internet connection over here.
 
EXTREMELY good voice work for Toph by Philece Sampler. She sounds just like the younger Toph, only… y’know, older. The inflections and everything was spot-on. It was actually kinda stunning how perfect that voice was.
 
Kuvira is a really cool villain, to the point where I’m unsure if she’s actually that “evil” or “villainous” in the first place. Zelda Williams’ voice helps her cold-as-ice attitude too.
 
Not sure how I feel about Bolin and Mako being on opposite sides, but eh, we’ll find out how that goes on.
 
I didn’t expect to actually feel sorry for Wu, but… here I am.
 
Am I the only one who thinks that Varrick might be building a… I dunno, a nuclear spirit bomb? I don’t know why I thought of that, but… I’m scared.
