Breathing is pretty nice when you know what it’s like to not be able to :q
Starvation takes weeks, dehydration takes days, but asphyxiation takes seconds to unconsciousness and minutes to death. Unfortunately we’re not whales that can hold their breath for freakishly long periods. Makes breathing quite a necessity, and a very nice thing to be able to do. Earth’s atmosphere may be an extremely thin layer (the visible portion is only a few miles to Earth’s 8,000 mile diameter), but it’s a good one.
It’s kind of interesting, though - we can last so much longer without food or water because our bodies are built to survive it, and not as long without air because they’re not. I wonder if there’s any alien species out there that would die of dehydration or starvation if they didn’t drink/eat in minutes?

, wings
, and spread wings
would all be found by a search for wing
, but sewing
would not be.
