Those who didn’t appreciate non-G4 ponies must realize that previous gen is basically a foundation of this current ones.

I absolutely love this badge myself!  
So fitting to feature the Firefly on it.  
G1 ponies had that superior equine anatomical correctness I like.  
Their looks are not too “modern” though so the lack of interest is understandable, they were not aimed at older viewers most of the time too unlike the generation 4 now.

I’m happy to be with this fandom. Happy anniversary!

I really wish G2 had ever gotten a cartoon, they had the perfect mix of realistic and cartoony design.

They kind of look like Princesses or these tall ponies like Fleur. But not as skinny as them, yes.
