Well, it would be handy for moving opponent’s power cards away from a problem, leaving an easier time for your own double/faceoff.  
The Showy trait is just plain handy to have around.  
Plus, it’s purple, so combine it with Princess Luna A Good Night’s Sleep (or similar cards), and you can recycle the effect

For card players out there, how effective would Trixie’s card be? Like would she be the ‘buy time’ type or distraction type like a support?

Friends are the basic character type in the ccg, as opposed to the Mane Character cards. Don’t pin too much on her being listed as a friend, characters like Flim and Flam, Ahuizotl, and even Queen Chrysalis have received friend cards in the past.

I’m glad it says she’s still going to show off on stage even though she’s more humble. And that she’s labelled as a friend. Hinting at a future episode perhaps?
