(Apparently she didn’t technically have wings at the end of Rainbow Rocks, but she did in the novelization, and she did in “My Past is Not Today”, and of course the spirit alicorn had wings, so even there, there was no shortage of wings to go around.)

Pony!Equestria is a magical world, so everypony there can sense magic.  
Human!Equestria is not, so almost everyone there is oblivious to magic.
 
First panel: Element of Magic crown is of highly concentrated magic, then Shimmer’s negative desires influence her form. The protags are almost powerless, but are determined to unleash their innate powers.
 
Second panel: Rainboom Giant consists of PTS’s magic, Shimmer’s and the HuMane 5’s (being mostly muggles with magic potential), and DJ Pon-3’s car of the future. The Dazzlings in their reverted forms on stage and their hatred feast were no laughing matter.
 
Third panel: Super Sunset Phoenix is her own innate Unicorn magic (limits broken because desperation) plus the HuMane 5’s, going one-on-one against Midnight Sparkle, being a nobody/woobie-turned-artificial unstable Discord in Human!Equestria.
 
Numbers matter.

idk, this was above friendship magic, demon sunset was like chrysalis, the rainbow rocks thing was the Tirek Battle but sunset phoenix (daydream sunset which could be the canon name) basically became a god, and was able to repair portals with ease.
 
ALSO Friendship Games movie is basically a recreation of Celestia VS Nightmare Moon. So in a way, Sunset Shimmer became an alicorn on the levels of Celestia instead of just alicorn twilight.

Super Sunset Phoenix is actually weaker than that Rainboom Magic Gestalt/Megazord _{I know the tag of latter}.

sorry, I know this is really dumb and slightly redundant with it being sunset shimmer twice, but I had this idea in my head all day at work and it would keep bothering me till I produced it and uploaded it. Also I find this WAY more funny than it has any right to be.
