To be fair, I was originally going to comment on how the power ponies were able to fight for themselves, but I didn’t quite have anywhere I was really GOING with my comment, so I just went for the much easier and unintelligent remark.

There was also the fact that the dragon in Dragonshy was beating the crap out of the mane six, but in Power Ponies they were handling themselves just fine for the most part.
 
Plus, attacking a defenseless firefly just because it’s in the way is really, really petty.

the original plan for applebucking was that AJ would headbutt trees to make the apples fall. That was very quickly altered. So maybe this is closer to the original than the final version?
