I know! No anthro, either. What gives?!
I know your not trying to start anything and I said on another thread about this there are gay people who are flamboyant they just don’t make up the majority is all (you probably already know that but others don’t my comment was more for the people who don’t know).
Not every gay person is flamboyant, of course not. But I can attest that the vast majority of flamboyant men I’ve met have been gay, and even I and other gay friends of mine have fun with the flamer stereotypes and find them humorous.
I wasn’t trying to start anything though. I’m just saying, given this fandom’s propensity for pairing any and every character into homosexual relationships (which I don’t have a problem with), you’d think the character that actually did fit the flamboyant gay stereotype would see more of that.
I’m also gay I just thought I would point out that judging a book by it’s cover isn’t the best thing to do and I am pretty tired of hearing the stereotype that every gay person is flamboyant.
Considering I am gay, I’m well aware of that, thanks. But it’s still ironic given how often people pair characters like Mac in gay relationships when there’s much less reason for them to assume that orientation for him than there is for this guy. Especially given Mac and Cheerilee are strongly hinted to be a thing at this point.
Flamboyant doesn’t = gay.
The irony of that since I think this guy is actually supposed to be gay.
