Already said I don’t.
the game is made by gameloft, which isnt managed by the people who work on the show, so anything you see in the game is either based on the show or made up by the developers, who probably don’t do as much research as they should.
In the Gameloft game Rarity’s mom is named Betty Bouffant, if you consider this a higher authority is up to you.

Personally, I would go with the one that I think either sounds less stupid or sounds charmingly more stupid. & in this case I feel that Cookie Crumbles sounds better.
That & she can change her hairstyle, but she can’t change her cutie mark.
Also I don’t really feel like Betty Bouffant really fits into a set with Rarity & Sweetie Belle either…
since it’s hair themed & the other two are allure themed.
Given equal levels of canon potential (neither of which are even up to the comics, let alone the show), I would go with the one that makes more thematic sense. Ponies in given families tend to be thematically named, and Betty Bouffant sounds more suitable to a set including Rarity and Sweetie Belle than Cookie Crumbles does.
yeah I know, it just sounds cuter then the other names she was given, and fits her much more, much much more, then Rarity’s mom.

Also Rarity’s mom aliases with Cookie Crumbles, but that other name is only tagged on three images.
Cookie Crumbles is the most canon name for her in my opinion. Besides it’d be better to just choose a name that isn’t too similar to a pre-existing one.
It’s confusing enough to have Starlight the human & Starlight Glimmer already. We don’t need to dive into naming confusion that we can avoid.
