Given how much flack they get anyway from “Spike Justice Warriors” (as opposed to sane Spike fans, who know how to be respectful), I don’t think it’d bother them.
Come to think of it, Joo Dee would fit right in at Equal Town.
Yeah, plus their pursuit for Spike lead them back to Equal Town, which may lead to Starlight being the culprit to his capture.
And then Spike’s missing for about 1/3 of the season. Would be legit interesting, too. But dear God, that would probably anger the Spike fans more than ever thought possible! Last thing the writers would need.

We’ve seen the glowing eyes a lot before (and mostly with Twilight), but never in a moment of pure rage. Also the other way around with lots of destructive rage, but not with the glowing eyes. Only Luna showed some of that before.
