Yeah, I think so. Comics and comic franchises are cyclical–always getting rebooted for a new generation. In 20 years, they’ll be remaking Avengers.
Aren’t The Punisher, Blade, and Daredevil part of a certain set that was seemingly a reboot of one, more, or all of the Edgier(tm) Marvel characters? I barely remember FX talking about the history of The Punisher during the breaks between a showing of his movie from last decade.
Punisher first appeared in Amazing Spider-man in 1974 (first comic of his own in 86 or 87), and Blade in Tomb of Dracula in July 1973. 1970-85 is Bronze Age.
I’ve always assumed all Avengers are older than games, and more than likely The Punisher and Blade are not, yeah? (Forgot the name of their era. :j )
Hawkeye first appeared as a bad guy in Tales of Suspense (forget which issue) in 1964, so yeah, he even predates Pong.

Ocelot debuted on the PS1, so, that means mid-‘90s, I think. I’m just thinking out loud, but yes, that means Hol Horse and Emperor, and J. Giel “Centerfold” and The Hanged Man, are older too.
