No need for matter replicators, we’ve figured out how to literally grow meat. We just need to figure out how to do it cheaply and also make it taste good (so far the best assessment anyone’s been able to give for it is “palatable”.)

I’ll wait until matter replicators are a thing before I eat synthetic meat. Making meat molecule by molecule would make them literally identical. I give it a few decades. Fifty years tops.

I’ve had several vegan meats, and trust me. As a meat lover, it’s worth your time.
No I have had one vegie style food and it was awful that was like 7 years ago though I don’t know if they are good now but I’m not gonna bother trying I’ll stick with real meat.

Veggie stuff has actually come a long way since 10 years ago or so. I can’t speak for burgers, but I’ve had veggie hot dogs and chicken wings that were very good.
