I mean… it IS forced. Pinkie forced it. It’s incredibly forced Appledash, against everyone’s will, including Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
 
If he really is saying, like, I, as an author, forced it, well, I really don’t care about ships, so… he can believe whatever he wants! I just needed a question that two ponies would answer ‘I do’ with, and the most honest pony and the most self-aggrandizing pony were the two easiest targets. You know Fluttershy would just answer something like that with “Um, well, I guess, um, out of us, that would, um, have to be me… if that’s okay…”
