Oh I give up. If I can’t even properly convey the redundancy and needlessness of putting a spoiler over a spoiler then there’s no point in continuing. I’ll just leave this comment section and go back to Darkest Hour. Have a good one.

But doesn’t it seem redundant to you to have to put up the pink cover on an image that’s going to show that image warning first anyway for those that have non-safe images on their blacklist? It’s like putting a blur effect on someone’s mouth along with a censor bleep when someone swears.
You’re missing the point of Rule #7 entirely. It has nothing to do with user’s individual spoilers (though you should always post onsite images like that anyway) but with the image’s rating, and potential material involved. Not everyone wants to look at cute images and then scroll down and have poni butt in their face without warning.
Spoiler things that are above the image’s rating, or don’t post them at all, simple.
Do you have equestria girls on your filters list? Because I have it on mine to test this and it’s working fine to me.
I see both images.
Again. Does the filter system just not work for embeded images anymore? If I link an image like this

your current filter.and I have EqG on my filter list, does something like this

your current filter.not pop up?
I’m being serious here I want to know.
You’re supposed to spoiler inappropriate images and text that are beyond an image rating. No exception.
You were “well aware” of rule 7 and yet still chose to break it? Shall we go there?
Like did I miss a change in the way image linking works on this site? Does the filter system no longer apply when I comment with a wide preview image embed included? I just remember almost getting into trouble for this kind of thing before and I’m wondering if something got altered during that time.
You don’t get it do you?
The rule still stands.
I’m well aware of rule 7 but my point still stands. The image is hidden to those that don’t wish to view it even without the spoiler so I’m still within the safe limits.
Not the point. Rule #7
So putting a spoiler on it seems redundant.
You do remember that it’s a preview thumbnail right? As in it still follows the tagging system and anyone who doesn’t want to see explicit content won’t have to since it will show up as hidden?
Don’t post images of a higher rating than the image unspoilered and unmarked. Link it next time if it’s explicit, please!
