The line between calling someone out for being stupid and being stupid is thin. It’s really not worth doing when you are dealing with that brand of cringe inducing garbage.

If you think there should be more Spike art, draw it. But don’t complain about other things existing, just because they are not catering to your personal tastes. They have a right to exist.
IDK. It was bad to do it.
But OmegaOzone has put Spike in many other videos before, so why chew him out for leaving him out of this specific one?
I think it was more about it being a bit tiresome. It’s like, “Oh what a surprise, another Mane Six image with Derpy in it instead of Spike.”
But artists clearly only exist to satisfy my specific tastes. Duh.

Because that’s the choice of the artist. Art doesn’t have to be an accurate representation. In fact, it doesn’t need an explanation. If the artist doesn’t like Spike, but they like Lyra, that’s a good enough reason to replace him. He doesn’t always need to be included. He can be off doing his own thing. People don’t necessarily exclude him from a scene because they have something against him, and even if they did, that’s still not a problem.

Why is Derpy or Lyra often depicted more than Spike in artwork? Sunset is too sometimes, but she has an excuse for it. Still doesn’t make it that much better though.
I was talking more about when people draw pictures rather than make animations.
One really shouldn’t read too much into it. It was not so much a deliberate exclusion as it was “I have this one model, it’s a pony model. I can make something cute with that.”
