I don’t see the harm in them either. I’m just telling you why some people probably don’t like it.
I just don’t see the harm in fat humanizations. Or any kind of humanizations, really. It’s literally not hurting anyone else, and it’s just how the artist sees Pinkie Pie as a human.
Plus, most of the female pony characters on the show have the exact same body type since it is a cartoon and they are literal ponies, and I don’t think they would all have the exact same body type if they were humans.
But that’s just my opinion; if someone else can see them all having the same body type, that’s fine. I just don’t see why some people complain when a humanization doesn’t fit their exact vision.
I think the thing is, in the show Pinkie isn’t heavy, at all. I know all the mane six have the same Flash body model and all that, but… there are chubby ponies in the show, like Mrs Cake. I get headcanon and artistic interpretation and all that, but Pinkie in the show isn’t heavier than her friends, and since we know fat and chubby ponies exist, there’s no reason to believe Pinkie is.
One question though, why do they all have show accurate hair colors but Fluttershy?
